Common cases
Green gauge
Stock is within the recommended quantity range.
Green gauge with a yellow border
Stock is exactly at the minimum or maximum level.
Yellow gauge
Stock is starting to run low, or there is slight overstock.
Red gauge or red border
Stock is very low or moderately overstocked.
Purple
The stock shortage or overstock is significant.
Black (or a pale grey in dark mode)
The stock level is critically low or high.
